Shae Butter uses in Hand and Body Lotions

By Dandee Man Jr.

The healing and moisturizing power of the Shea butter is truly amazing.Shea butter is organic, and naturally non-toxic, and is even used when cooking. Applying lotions that contain Shea butter are known to make the skin look and feel younger.

Shae butter lotion acts as a natural skin rejuvinating product, and is completely safe to use even on babies, people with skin conditions such as cracked skin, wounds, ulcers, extra dry skin, dermatitis, and eczema. Shae butter can also be used to help with stretch marks because of the way it restructures the skin.

Shea butter has many amazing uses. One of those uses is as a daily soap, or even in the bathtub. Rubbing Shea butter on aching muscles has been known to soothe them. Although most Shea butter lotions are expensive they are usually worth the price. If you cannot afford Shea butter can be duplicated and made at home for less.

Unfortunately most Shea butters now available to the general public have been over refined.this is done to remove Shea butter's natural scent and color. The problem with refining Shea butter is that many of the effective ingredients found in it naturally are removed. refined Shea butter as often been bleached, heated to over 400, and deodorized. In effect much of Shea butter's healing powers or values are significantly reduced or lost.

Unless you know the butter that you are buying is unrefined and from West Africa, chances are it is refined.Sure refined Shea butter may be aesthetically appealing, but it lacks its true moisturizing, healing, and nutritious properties of traditional Shea butter. - 16955
