As you know, there are many scams on the internet, and you can find these schemes on every page of Google. These programs actually seem to increase on a daily basis! You actually do not have to look very hard to find an internet scam, scheme , or online pyramid.
Not everything that you see is a scam or a scheme. I would be lying if I said that all business opportunities on the internet are scams and ponzi schemes. Many programs that are offered on the internet, however, are most certainly schemes and ponzis and could be quite seductive to say the least.
The internet marketing newbie can fall for many of these pyramid scams and ponzi schemes because of a strong desire to get rich quickly and make some fast money online. Many of these "so-called" internet businesses will promise you that you will get rich in a matter of days, and that you will not have to do a darn thing to earn this income online. They promise of an "automated system" that will do all of the work for you. This is simply not true.
There is no system that can do all of the work for you and let you sit back on your butt and do nothing. People actually fail in legitimate home businesses because you may be led to believe that you have to do nothing to make money. This is truly a recipe for failure.
Some of these "automated systems" that you find on the internet are nothing more than disguised cash moving programs where one person passes over cash to the next person. Usually there is no product, or there is a worthless product just to make the program appear as though it is a legitimate home business.
There are some winners in these money games, and it is usually the scam artists who start the program in the first place. Nowadays it is easy to put of a fancy web page with a cute video and some nice music. The founders of these programs know how to suck in unsuspecting people like yourself and play on your emotions like a fine harpist.
When you are told that you will be rich, drive a fancy car, vacation anywhere and everywhere in the world, and spend more time with family, you can be easily seduced by these internet scams and schemes.
I learned the hard way regarding internet scams and pyramids, and I lost a lot of money because of it. In hindsight, however, I learned a lot about the internet and became a truly experienced online marketer who has learned to see past the hype and fluff.
I am now much able to tell between a legitimate internet or home business and an internet scam or ponzi scheme. Many programs , however, are disguised quite well and I have to sift through it like a fine tooth comb. As I continue my series on this topic we will discuss some of the differences between a real business and a ponzi scheme or pyramid scam. - 16955
