Do you wish you could dance? I'm a guy with a passion for Dance. Perhaps my passion is greater than my dancing ability but that can never stop my dream. DanceSteps-n-Dancing is a blogging forum for everyone to express their every thought and to share their every joy.
As a Dance Instructor my Mother's first love was dancing. She had her own dance school and also Instructed at a renowned School in Melbourne Australia. Melbourne is my birthplace. My mother wanted me to join her dance classes at an early age but I was reluctant to follow in her footsteps and I continually refused her efforts. My younger days of dancing were short lived for alas my mother died young seeing only the early days of my manhood.
It was many years later that I awkwardly graced the dance floor, and have done so ever since, perhaps without the awkwardness ( at least I would like to think so) I may one day place a video on this page for you to decide. I have one wish and that is for my mother to somehow know I am dancing as she wanted me too so long ago.
Dance and its appeal to our heart and soul is an echo of primal instincts. Many centuries have passed since man began his influence on this planet. As we developed our senses of sight and touch we started our journey forward and when we stimulated recognition of sound we found rhythmic dancing patterns were driven to our feet.
My love for dance and the friendships and the meetings of so many people have brought me to think of dance almost as a way of life. Sometimes in conversation I need to remind myself that others may have differing interests. Interests they might like to talk about too! How dare they! We are all different and that is what makes our world's go round.
My website is not in memory of my mother. She is just there. Perhaps with a guiding hand. DanceSteps-n-Dancing with Dance moves too is a site for you to come and experience the dance thoughts of others. You may post about anything related to dance, tell about your dance steps and dance moves experience, or just tell us your thoughts and memories.
It has a business aspect too. DanceSteps-n-Dancing has links to sites with paid and free dance steps, dancing videos and how to start a blog like this one to express your own thoughts or produce an income are gathered through out the pages.
The performance aspect of dance has helped me to build healthy self-esteem and confidence, develops skills that help with other sports, not to mention the fun! And there's some evidence that dancing to music while you exercise stimulates mental functioning more than silent activities. Building your dance steps into a workout routine is a great way to learn. Just dance to the music you live. - 16955
