How To Get Your Girlfriend Back After A Big Fight

Sometimes it happens. Your relationship is going great and suddenly you find yourself alone. What started out as a simple argument turned into a huge fight. Before you do anything dumb, here are some tips on how to get back in her good graces again.

Before doing anything els, here are some important questions you need to ask yourself.

- Is the matter you're fighting about really as important as you've made it?

- Is it even really appropriate to argue about this matter right now?

- Is there any good reason to keep fighting about this? Or is it best to just forget about it and move on?

- Is the issue even worth arguing about in the first place?

If you can honestly answer "no" to any of those questions, it's time to stop pressing the matter and let it slide. Many times, a break up can be prevented or quickly rekindled once the argument is settled. The truth is, many of these big arguments are completely unnecessary and can be put to rest simply by letting the tension go and moving on.

You also need to stop worrying about how things look. By that, I mean you can't put "winning" above everything else. If you do, you're in for a lonely road ahead of you. Put your ego aside and start thinking about how you two can resolve things - even if it means eating a little crow.

This is also a good time to put some distance between the two of you - both mentally and emotionally. I know that sounds strange, but by taking yourself out of the situation for a time will reduce the stress you're both feeling. You don't have to cut off communication completely, but you need to find a way to stay positive and keep your emotions under control until things cool down a bit.

Once you're more calm and relaxed, and she's had a chance to cool off as well, you'll be better able to resolve things in a more reasonable and loving way. You'll be able to sit down and see the situation for what it really is and work through a solution.

If you can focus on being patient and kind to each other, most fights can be worked through and resolved. Your main goal should be to show her that you care and that the most important thing is getting your relationship on track again.
